Ever wish you could play some songs without having to learn music theory? You don't have to be able to read music to play a song on the guitar! Complex sheet music isn't necessary if you already know the rhythm and melody.

Learn at Your Own Pace

Visual and Audio Examples

This is my story;

My mother gave me a guitar when I was 17 years old; more than thirty years ago. Playing the guitar gave me a creative outlet that helped me get through some of the anxious and restless phases of my youth. I know that in the early years, I offended some people with my song choices, but since then, I've learned the value of "reading" people to determine what they wanted to hear. I believe this is an integral part of performing successfully, and I encourage every beginning and advanced musician to chose their songs very carefully for every presentation.

I hope that some of you will find the music I've posted here suitable and helpful to you in your efforts to learn and grow. There are precious few subtle and gentle ways to communicate with others. Music is one of the truly universal ways of finding common ground and genuine pleasure that can go beyond language and cultural boundaries.
